Advising One of Belgium’s Major Infrastructure Investments: The R0xA201 PPP Project

The R0×A201 PPP project in Brussels involves the comprehensive modernisation and reorganisation of the transport interchange between the Brussels Ring Road and the inner-city A201 boulevard. The project is designed to improve traffic flow, enhance road safety, reduce congestion, and strengthen multimodal infrastructure for public transport, cyclists, pedestrians, and private vehicles.

TA Europe provided technical advisory services to the financing parties. The scope comprised independent monitoring of construction progress, technical review of works, assessment of programme and delivery risks, and a structured exchange with the project company and the construction joint venture.

As one of the most significant transport infrastructure investments in Belgium, the project is set to deliver long-term improvements in mobility and sustainability across the greater Brussels area, including the national airport connection.
