TA Europe assists Infrastructure Fund with Refinancing of
Multiple Northern European Data Centre Assets

In the context of refinancing a Northern European data centre portfolio, TA Europe supported an infrastructure fund with integrated technical and commercial advisory services. The portfolio comprised both operational data centres and assets under development.

TA Europe’s scope included Technical Due Diligence for a recently completed data centre as well as for an asset in the development phase, review of early-stage design concepts, assessment of the respective business cases, and an EU Taxonomy alignment review across all assets. In addition, TA Europe carried out a cost analysis of the measures required to achieve EU Taxonomy compliance in line with the 2023 best-practice guidelines of the EU Code of Conduct on Data Centre Energy Efficiency.

The combined assessment established a consistent technical and sustainability-based decision framework for the refinancing process and for future upgrade and investment planning.
