Rethinking Retail in the Heart of Madrid

TA Europe prepared a comprehensive development appraisal for a retail unit within a listed building in central Madrid, which is currently being converted into a hotel.

The scope included an action plan for the legalisation and commercialisation of the retail space, taking into account the building’s heritage protection status as well as the City of Madrid’s specific requirements for leisure and food & beverage uses. In addition, TA Europe supported the permitting process and is currently advising on the further development of the retail concept and the planning of the building services systems for the unit.
