Managing Partner
TA Europe’s Managing Partner, Wolfgang Schlicht, is a former Equity Partner of the global firm EC Harris LLP. In 2001 he established the EC Harris’ office in Düsseldorf, including a specialist team that dealt with business requirements of investors, corporates and banks. As part of the EC Harris European Network the team supported a large number of Real Estate and Infrastructure projects and transactions, providing Technical Due Diligence and monitoring services, PPP and Lender’s Technical Advisor (LTA) services, Risk Management, Lifecycle analysis and Project & Cost Management. The number of international consultants in his team and the supporting network grew from year to year, specialising in different sectors and technical disciplines and finally formed the foundation of TA Europe.
Between 1988 and 2001 Wolfgang worked with Prof. Kuhne, the founder of Drees and Sommer, and founded GBM as a Junior Partner and MD. GBM delivered Project Management, Cost Management, Consultancy and Training to public and private organisations in diverse sectors.
Wolfgang studied structural engineering and project management in Essen and graduated with a degree in engineering.
