A green landmark redefined – the Radisson Collection Hotel Berlin reopens in style!
The revitalisation of the Radisson Collection Hotel Berlin comprised a comprehensive redesign of the lobby, atrium bar, restaurant areas, and event spaces. At the heart of the project is the integration of a new six-storey biophilic centrepiece, forming a defining architectural highlight within the atrium.
Throughout the planning and construction phases, TA Europe acted as project and cost manager. The role included coordinating all stakeholders—from owners and operators to specialist contractors—while ensuring structural feasibility, interface management, cost transparency, and programme adherence.
The scope further covered the coordination of technical design packages, the integration of lighting, building services, and irrigation systems for the new vertical garden installation, as well as the targeted reuse of existing structural elements. This approach reduced demolition volumes, shortened construction timelines, and supported a resource-efficient use of materials.
The result is a newly positioned luxury hotel with a sharpened architectural identity, enhanced spatial quality, and a significantly elevated guest experience—demonstrating how high-end refurbishments can combine design ambition with planning certainty and resource-efficient delivery in a complex inner-city existing building in Berlin.
