Kick-off for the Future: Modernization of the Brussels Ring Road R0 – TA Europe as Lenders Technical Advisor on the Major Project!

As part of the modernisation programme for the Brussels Ring (R0) in Belgium, TA Europe acted as Technical Advisor to the financing parties. The large-scale expansion programme initiated by the Flemish Government will comprehensively reshape key sections of the ring road infrastructure, with an initial focus on the interchange near Brussels Airport.

TA Europe supported the lenders throughout the transaction and the subsequent construction phase by reviewing the technical scope, risk profile, implementation and delivery strategy, as well as environmental aspects of the project. The programme aims to improve road safety and traffic flow, strengthen access to the airport and surrounding commercial centres, enable more sustainable mobility connections between municipalities, and restore natural habitats through targeted landscape and water-ecology measures.
