Logistics for Lagerhome: TA Europe advises on acquisition by GREYKITE and troveinvest
The acquisition of two logistics assets built in the 1980s in Ratingen (near Düsseldorf) and Raunheim (near Frankfurt am Main) for the newly established Lagerhome platform was supported by TA Europe through a comprehensive due diligence process.
The scope comprised technical and environmental due diligence as well as an extended ESG assessment, including a stranded-asset analysis, climate risk and vulnerability assessment, review of energy performance certificates (EPCs), and an analysis of OPEX and CAPEX implications.
The assessment demonstrated that targeted technical and organisational measures are sufficient to extend the projected stranding horizon of the assets beyond 2040 without the need for major structural interventions. The case illustrates how ESG-driven optimisation can materially enhance the long-term resilience and economic viability of existing logistics properties.
