Imke Stuhlmacher works at TA Europe’s office in Essen as a Senior Consultant PPP & ESG.
Prior to joining the TA Europe team, Imke worked at HOCHTIEF as a Senior Manager for the operational phase of social infrastructure projects within the PPP scheme.
In this position, she represented the interests of the SPVs to the various stakeholders, i.e. contracting authorities, users of the facilities, FM service providers and others. She coordinated and managed all necessary internal and external technical, commercial and legal services to ensure the performance obligation owed under the PPP contract, especially the observance of the operator obligations. Within the framework of the long-term PPP contracts, she always looked for ways to adapt the projects contractually and technically to the current requirements of the time, e.g. in terms of sustainability.
Before that, she worked for six years as a Senior Project Developer at HOCHTIEF being responsible for the acquisition and bidding phase of PPP projects within the social infrastructure sector in Germany and Poland. Therefore, Imke brings with her a comprehensive understanding of all phases of a PPP project and the importance of a thorough consideration of life cycle costs.
Imke graduated from the Bauhaus University Weimar in Management of Construction, Real Estate and Infrastructure, which is a combined degree of civil engineering and economics. She spent parts of her studies at TU Twente, Netherlands, and is fluent in German and English.
