Reinhold Welbers is the Leader of our project management team in Essen and Duesseldorf and is based in Duesseldorf. With more than 25 years of professional experience as a Project Manager, Project Director, Project Leader and Consultant in different firms – among them Arup and EC Harris – Reinhold is an expert for project organisation and coordination. He has extensive experience with all stages of project management and has acted on client’s behalf in several major projects. Furthermore, Reinhold has excellent knowledge of contract management with international contractors as well as expert planners, engineers and surveyors according to HOAI.
In one of his previous firms, Reinhold also held the role of a trainer for internal staff training courses in various practical subjects such as controlling and lifecycle management. Reinhold’s clients profit from his deep understanding of both the technical and economical aspects of projects – and how they are interrelated.
Reinhold holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Essen and is an EOQ auditor for quality management construction. He speaks German as a mother tongue and is fluent in English, which is valued by his international clients and project partners.
