Thomas Krüger is Associate Director at TA Europe and based in our Berlin office. With 20 years of experience in the world of real estate and construction, his role is – in addition to his work on Technical Due Diligences – primarily the one of a Client Account Manager.
During the last 10 years, Thomas’ focus has been on project management and technical due diligence. Both areas combine two important core competencies of architects, which are among Thomas’ strengths: in-depth knowledge of technological and constructional interrelationships as well as the ability to quickly grasp complex processes and procedures and to manage them in a goal-oriented and timely manner. This includes a thorough understanding of each property’s lifecycle.
Thomas studied architecture at the Technical University of Berlin. He spent years of study abroad in Madras, India, at the Hindustan College of Engineering as well as at the Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT) in Chicago, USA. After his studies he worked as an architect. He then gained experience as a broker in the investment sector in Berlin, and, subsequently, managed several projects for groups of private investors as a project controller. For several years, he then worked as a project manager in the field of technical due diligence. In addition to numerous individual properties, he was also responsible for the TDD processes for some of the largest portfolio transactions in recent years.
Thomas is a member of the Berlin Chamber of Architects.
His mother tongue is German. He is also fluent in English and has good conversational skills in Russian.
