Ulf Engel is an expert in technical (MEP) building services and in technical property management, in the role of Senior Consultant and based in our Essen office. With more than 20 years of experience, Ulf has the necessary skills set and knowledge to advise client owners and operators in ensuring that technical services and infrastructural property management are executed and operated with best practice and excellence. Typical advice includes coordinating and ensuring that servicing, maintenance and modernization measures, as well as statutory compliance, are always carried out efficiently, accurately and on time.
In recent years, Ulf has held various management positions in technical systems engineering and building management, leading expert teams and being responsible for highly complex building services projects and technical installations. One of his most recent assignments included the maintenance management, services operations and budget control for a portfolio of 160 retail buildings, with a total floor area of ca. 1.7 million m². Ulf has relevant work experience not only in Germany but also in Austria, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Russia and Slovakia.
Ulf holds a degree in Building Services Engineering and has acquired additional qualifications throughout his career. Amongst others, he is a qualified BREEAM International Assessor, a Certified Facility Manager and a Certified Energy Manager.
