TA Europe has identified Munich as a strategic location from where to conduct our business and care for our network in southern Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Offering TDD services in Real Estate and Infrastructure and with ongoing project management and cost management commissions in the centre of Munich, the team requires a permanent base from where to operate.
Of course, Munich offers our team an excellent quality of work and life. The Bavarian capital has recently been voted most desirable city of 2018 to live in (British Monocle Magazine), mainly because of its many green spaces, public transport, health system, education system and general cleanliness and safety. But also, business climate, hospitality and retail spaces have been assessed and considered.
This month the team has started working in our brand-new offices, located at Oskar-von-Miller-Ring within the premises of the global coworking office space provider WeWork. This place will offer the most attractive working environment for our people, with many attractions, communication opportunities and entertainment during the working day and after work. It is well connected by public transport and within walking distance of the ‘Englischer Garten’, a large city park from the 18th century with a 78 km cycle/jogging path and a beer garden at the lake. The very centre of Munich is also not far, Odeonsplatz, Stachus and Marienplatz, as well as shopping areas, can be reached on foot easily.
In October, we will be part of the Expo Real, the largest Real Estate trade fair in Europe. In 2018 we will exhibit at the city of Munich stand, with a new concept for our company representation at this important event.
