TA Europe’s Ulrich Fritsch explains the updated German standard “DIN 276 Building Costs”

Juni 13, 2019

Only a short time after the update of the German standard “DIN 276 Building costs”, one of the most important standards in the real estate sector, the technical book “DIN 276 in Bildern” of TA Europe Cost Management expert Ulrich Fritsch, as author and editor, was published in May as the first publication about this standard.

This book was published in cooperation of the two important German technical book publisher Beuth Verlag GmbH, Berlin, and the WEKA Media GmbH & Co. KG, Kissing.

The publication describes the differences between the previous and the updated standard and lists the new components. Another important part of the content is the explanation of the updated cost structure of cost group 100 to 890 with text, pictures and photos. Another part of the publication discusses the new quantity units and reference quantities.

Since „DIN 276 Building costs“ will most likely still be applied in different versions in the building industry and real estate sector for the next coming years, e.g. difference between future projects and ongoing projects, HOAI fee assessments based on the earlier version of the cost standard, there will be placed great emphasis on an understandable comparison of cost structures and explanation of the differences.

As a publication from the practice for the practice “DIN 276 in Bildern” supports the successful and economic project execution with answers to the following questions:

  • What are the changes in “DIN 276 Building costs”?
  • What is the correct cost group?
  • Where are differences and agreements between cost groups?
  • What should you take notice of whilst estimating cost?
  • How can you do cost planning of new building or existing building projects during all phases in a simple and useful way with Excel-Tools

For more information please contact TA Europe and Ulrich Fritsch or read at www.beuth.de or www.weka.de

Should you wish to buy the book, it is also listed on Amazon.de
