The Brussels Real Estate team recently supported Real I.S. AG, one of Germany’s leading providers of property investments for private and institutional investors, in the acquisition of two office buildings in the centre of Brussels.
The Quatre Bras and Jean Jacobs building are situated on the inner ring road of Brussels, near the Court of Justice.
Quatre Bras is a ten-story corner office building (GF + 9) with four underground floors. It has 8.197 m² of office space, 991 m² of archives and 80 parking units.
The property was built in 2010, with the underground floors dating back to the original building of the 1970s. It is fully occupied by a department of the Federal Ministry of Justice and houses the Business Court.
The Jean Jacobs building is an eleven-story corner office and residential building (GF + 10) with 8,034 m² office space, 266 m² of archives, 977 m² of apartments and 55 parking spaces on three underground floors located between Boulevard de Waterloo, Place Jean Jacobs and Rue des Six-Aunes.
The building dates from 2008, with the underground floors dating back to the original construction of the 1970s.
Both buildings have a similar monolithic and timeless look and offer modern office areas with large amounts of natural light.
The Brussels Real Estate team with its local engineers and technical experts was supported by local experts from Tauw for the Environment DD, working together offering a full technical and environmental assessment to our client.
