Munich, 30 April 2020 – TA Europe moved to its new premises in Munich-Thalkirchen today. The outstanding red brick wall building, where the new offices are located, is part of the historical “Thalkirchner Bahnhof” situated in one of Munich’s most picturesque quarters.
“Our Munich team has been growing significantly during the previous year”, says Wolfgang Schlicht, Managing Partner at TA Europe. “We needed more space and were looking for something special – similar to our office in Essen – where the building equally facilitates teamwork and communication.”
In Essen-Kettwig, the TA Europe’s office is situated in a modernised half-timbered building, where old wooden beams and exposed concrete form a harmonious symbiosis. The atmosphere there resembles the one in TA Europe’s new Munich office. The “Thalkirchner Bahnhof” was built at the end of the 19th century and used to connect the first electrical railway to Munich central station. After careful renovation in 2013, the area is now home to firms like Under Armour or Virtual Identity.
“We are really looking forward to working from there and welcoming our clients at the beautiful new premises”, says Fotis Dimitroulas, Team Leader Project Management at TA Europe, who has been instrumental in discovering the property.
“Of course, the use of the office will comply with the applicable health and safety directive issued due to COVID-19 by the German Government recently”, adds Sebastian Busse, CFO at TA Europe. This means that team members will respect the minimum distance, avoid larger meetings and closely follow all other instructions.
Regarding the house warming party, the German saying “Aufgeschoben ist nicht aufgehoben“ applies – meaning it won’t be canceled but will take place when it can safely be done, at some point in the future.
