Technical Advisors Europe is pleased to announce its continued success and expansion through the opening of its Berlin office on 1st August 2017, which brings together the existing technical consultancy expertise servicing the business from Berlin and a growing team of experienced, new in-house experts, to further develop and enhance the technical advisory offering.
The Berlin office is located at Kurfürstendamm 30, conveniently situated on the renowned thoroughfare in the heart of the increasingly popular ‘City West’ area of the capital. Berlin is a focal point between East and West, with this office location also complementing TA Europe’s further office locations in Essen and Brussels, all of which also offer leading technical advisor services in real estate and infrastructure, along with being supported by a wider network of alliance and partner experts and advisors across the whole of Europe.
An office in vibrant and exciting Berlin is a logical step for TA Europe’s further expansion and the office reflects the blend of multi-lingual and international technical experts and support staff in the office, as well as the team’s domestic German and the cross-border professional experience. The TA Europe team has already established a track record over the last three years of serving a wide range of real estate or infrastructure investors or owner clients who are based throughout the world and who we find are increasingly active and looking to invest in Berlin, along with their further interests in Germany and across mainland Europe.
TA Europe’s Berlin-based team includes Chartered Surveyor (RICS), Architect and Project Manager experts, with the real estate transaction advisory services headed by Lawrence Wainwright FRICS, who was previously Head of Technical Due Diligence (Germany) at EC Harris and then ChandlerKBS, having been based in Berlin throughout that time and the Service Leader and main client contact for numerous, high-profile ‘TDD’ commissions, across mainland Europe, which have included some of the largest commercial property deal transactions in Germany over the last 15 years.
The Berlin-based team also includes, as well as technical support staff, Francisco Pernia, an architect with extensive project management and technical advisory expertise in Technical Due Diligence and Project Monitoring in the retail, commercial office, logistic, residential and hotel property sectors.
